About SecureUtah.org

This website is the public face for several security-focused campaigns in Utah, beginning with advocacy for state-wide HTTPS adoption.  Future work will concentrate on promoting digital security basics, improving data privacy protections, and supporting encryption and secure communications.

The emphasis will always be on providing a safer experience for the individuals and families that use the Internet as part of their daily lives.

SecureUtah.org's advocacy for HTTPS in Utah was inspired by the EFF, HTTPSWatch.com, 18F's Pulse, and the many forward-thinking individuals that have publicly pushed for widespread HTTPS over the past decade.
